Dust/Blokr® Polymer Blend 5ml Sample Spraying Bottle
Please watch this short video before you start testing Dust/Blokr® Polymer Blend.
For the test area, we recommend using a cardboard passepartout with an opening of 15 x 15 cm as shown in the pictures. Place everything on a solid wooden or metal surface when you want to do some further testing with the material chosen. In this test, we used coal.
After spraying the Dust/Blokr® Polymer Blend liquid diluted with water we left the treated surface dry for 24 hours before we started watering it.
This test is equal to 200ml Dust/Blokr® Polymer Blend and 1-liter water / m2.

Road//Stabilizr® 10 ml Sample Bottle
Stabilizing 1 square meter with Road//Stabilizr
To step up our home product testing, we used one euro pallet 80 x 120 x 20 cm frame which was fixed well with solid screws before adding any material or compacting. For easy mixing, we used a standard concrete mixer. For roughly 200 liters of a clay-gravel mix, you need only 6 ml of Road//Stabilizr diluted in water. The amount of water depends on the moisture content of other materials. After mixing we placed the material in 10 cm layers and compacted them individually while still moist. After a couple of days, the material was hard enough for further testing.
Road//Stabilizr soil sample cakes
Sometimes it is easier to test a small amount of clay-containing soil just to see how it will react with our product. For this purpose, you need roughly 1 liter of clay-containing soil with some gravel and please make sure you have at least 20 % clay in the mixture.
Put the clay-gravel mixture into a suitable bowl for proper mixing. Take a separate measuring cup and take 3 – 4 drops of Road//Stabilizr and dilute them in 20 – 50 ml of water. After that, you can start adding the liquid into the soil sample giving it a good stir. Should the material need more moisture, you can add some carefully, until you can form a nice firm ball of it in your hand.
We use a metal mold with a heavyweight. Additionally, we use a hydraulic press to simulate the compactor on a small scale. Remove the sample cake from the mold after compaction and leave it at room temperature for a couple of days.
If you can feel the sample becoming concrete, this is a good sign that Road//Stabilir most probably will work with your soil material, but we always recommend you do proper soil analysis before using it on a big scale.
Depending on the mold you have available, one-liter soil will make some 2 – 8 sample cakes. Let us know how your home product testing went! Do not forget to include videos or pictures and send them to info at vumos.fi
